Do I need a website to participate?
We appreciate all those who tell their friends about NaturalGrocers.com, but in order to track referrals we utilize special codes that you place in the links on your site. These links can also be communicated in other ways such as email, but to discourage spamming and build a consistent network of affiliate sources, we require that all affiliates have a website in which they will primarily promote those links for their site visitors. Only internet orders will be tracked for affiliate credit (not phone or fax orders).

If you don't have a website but are still interested in promoting NaturalGrocers.com and earning store credit, you could look into setting up a blog or homepage to discuss our products online. There are several affordable (and even free) options for creating your own page online.

Can any site participate?
Any site can apply to the program, but we will review the information provided in order to find the best fits for us. Health-related websites with high traffic levels would be ideal affiliates, but let us know about your site and the kinds of products you believe would be of interest to your visitors. Do I need to be in the United States?
No, but please review our international shipping policies to determine whether or not orders from your local customers (as well as your own orders with earned credit) can be shipped to your location.

How do you know sales are from my site?
Once you create an affiliate account, you will be provided with a link that contains a unique identifying code to add to your site. Customers clicking on that exact link will allow us to track and credit your account if a sale results. Depending upon the browser cookie settings of online customers using your affiliate links, you may also get credit for future sales following that first referred visit.

Where can I look up my balance or track statistics?
Go to NaturalGrocers.com and click on the Affiliate Program link and then Log In to your account to view traffic and sales reports based upon your affiliate account. You will also want to create a regular shopping account on NaturalGrocers.com so that we can make our affiliate payments to your shopping account. You can then click My Account in the top navigation to view your account balance.

Do you offer cash instead of store credit?
Not at this time, but we may re-evaluate that in the future based upon the results of this new program. We believe that affiliates who link to us should do so because they highly recommend and enjoy our products.

When can I use my store credit?
Shortly after sales revenue has been generated and referred orders shipped, you should see an increase in your store credit balance on your NaturalGrocers.com shopping account. You can use that credit balance at any time. If you have a pending store credit payment that has not been added to your account yet, contact us.
