The Best Wheat Crackers Out There!

I don't know how a product with so much nutritional goodness and so few ingredients tastes soooo good, but these do. They go well with everything- cheese, dips, even peanut butter & jelly if you are out of bread! And, they are delicious on their own! I'm almost certain there aren't too many 100% whole wheat products that taste good on their own, but these do- they are ever so slightly sweet because of the honey in them, and the sesame seeds on top give them a much richer flavor than most wheat crackers (which are usually oversalted in an attempt to make them flavorful). These are so cheap and so versatile... not to mention full of fiber and a decent amount of protein, if I remember correctly. Win-win!

Wonderful taste

I have loved AkMak crackers for a long time...they add nothing extra (sugar, preservatives, etc.) and have a mildly nutty taste. I love the sesame seeds sprinkled all over. They do tend at times to break easily when used in a thick dip (like hummus), but are a great, inexpensive basic cracker for all cracker uses.

I tried these last week when looking at the grocery for a healthy cracker to eat with my seafood snacks, low fat cheese spreads, or other healthy cracker toppings. The nutritional info on the box looked great and I expected something that was dry and tasteless, but these are great tasting, crisp crackers. They are the perfect size for spreading toppings and very low calorie. I made the mistake of telling my husband about them and by the next day he'd finished off the whole box! Then I went back to the grocery and they were no longer on the shelf, so I had to ask the manager to restock them. I absolutely had to get some more of these crackers, so I was glad to find this site and just finished placing my order for 12 boxes so we won't run out any time soon. I highly recommend these!

everything you want, and nothing you don't! I like these topped with cheese, jam, bean dip, or just on their own. Besides great taste, they offer fiber and other good nutrients to boot.
