How to find products on NaturalGrocers.comBack to Top

NaturalGrocers.com has over 13,000 products, so we have provided you 3 easy ways to find just what you are looking for.

  1. Search

    At the top of every page you will find a search bar, simply enter a product name, category, brand or UPC number to find the product you are looking for.

    Keywords may be separated by the "AND" or the "OR" statements for greater control of the search results.

    For example, squeeze AND packs would generate a result set that contain both words. However, for squeeze OR packs, the result set returned would contain both or either words.

  2. Browse

    Down the left side of each page you will see our full catalog organized by category. Simply click on the category that you are interested in and it will expand to show you all of the sub-categories. Some popular main categories are also listed next to the search button near the top of each page for easy access.

    If you are having trouble placing your order online, or are away from your computer, we are always willing to take your order over the phone.

What is the shopping cart and how does it work?Back to Top

The Shopping Cart is a list of all the items that you have added while shopping on NaturalGrocers.com

There are two ways to add items to the Shopping Cart. If you have navigated to a category page, are looking at all the items for one brand, you can click on the "Buy Now" button to immediately add the item to your cart. If you have navigated directly to a product page you can click on the "Add to Cart" button which will add the quantity entered in the "Quantity" box, or you can simply click on the "Buy Now" button to add a quantity of one to your shopping cart.

Every time you click "add" or "add to cart" you are taken to the "Shopping Cart" page where you can see what other items you have added and make adjustments.

You can also always see what is in your Shopping Cart by looking on the right side of the screen, where there is a summary of your shopping cart and your order subtotal.

All email correspondence will remain private unless you specifically agree in writing that it should be posted. We do like to share our customer's feedback by publicly posting (publishing) your comments, but we always ask for and receive the writer's permission before posting your correspondence with any identifying information on our website.

Sales Tax PolicyBack to Top

We are required to collect sales tax in New Mexico (5%), Texas, Utah (varies), and Colorado (varies). Your shopping cart will calculate the appropriate tax based on ship-to address, but that is only an ESTIMATED amount which may differ from your actual charge. If the cart calculates a tax charge that seems too high or low, please include a comment with your order and we will look into it.

We want you to be happy and satisfied with the products that you buy from us. Our goal is to provide customers with the highest quality all natural products available at the very best prices every day.

Return information for Orders placed online or over the Phone

  • Your Satisfaction is guaranteed, so if for any reason you are not satisfied with a product purchased from us; return the unused portion within 90 days of delivery.

  • You may only return one open container of any single product.

  • If we erroneously shipped you the wrong product and you wish to return it, we will refund you for the product and shipping cost.

  • Please call before mailing any return - returns that are not called in may result in lost packages and delays in refund processing

  • Refunds may take up to 3 weeks to process once we receive the return package. Please note that all refunds will be processed to the same credit/debit card that the original order was placed. If the original debit/credit card is no longer active, the refund will be made by check.

  • Refunds for orders that were paid for by check will be issued by check. Check refunds may take up to 30 days to process

We do not accept returns on:

  • 10lb - 55lb Bulk Items. Returns are only allowed if we made an error and shipped you the wrong product.

  • Detox Tea, Profibe, Ultimate Meal or World Nutrition brand products.

Partial Orders & BackordersBack to Top

We have a wide and quickly changing product selection and from time to time need to order new inventory to fill orders. While this can delay some orders, it both helps keep prices low, and it means the freshest products of you!

I order to minimize the delay in your order here are some backorder policies that we follow:

If 50% or more of your order is here and ready to go, we will ship your order without the out of stock items. These items will not be backordered, but please feel free to reorder. Your product total and shipping amount will be adjusted to reflect these changes.

If less than 50% of the order is ready to go, we will contact you to advise you of how long it might take to fill your order. With your authorization we can also ship your order as is and make necessary changes to your order total.

Please Note: If there is a particular item which you know you want to wait for, please make a note with your order during the checkout processes.

On Sale Section: Here you will find monthly sales from our Health Hotline, in addition to items that are sold at EveryDay Affordable Pricing. These regular prices are often lower than our competitors "sale" prices, so compare carefully!

Clearance Section: We constantly add new Clearance Items to our website, so check back often to find the deepest discounts on some of our most popular items.

Please Note: We do not honor pricing errors. If we find a significant difference between your cart price and correct price, we will contact you prior to shipping. Our Prices may vary from those in our retail locations and sales flyers. Although it is our intention to keep them closely similar, prices may be different between our store shelves, web sites, and printed sales flyers from time to time. Web site prices are not good in stores, and store pricing is not good on the web.

Important: If paying by Credit/Debit card, your account will not be charged until the day that your order is shipped. Look for "NATURALGROCERS.COM-CT1" on your credit/debit card statement.

If your credit/debit account declines when we attempt to process your order, or we have the incorrect billing address on file, we will contact you to update your billing address. If we can not get in contact with you within two week, we will cancel you order.

  • In addition, all the computers that can be used to process your credit/debit card transaction are separated from the rest of our company by several layers of security.

When you place an order or update account information those transactions will happen on secured pages with industry standard 128/256 bit SSL encryption. You will see a COMODO logo in the bottom right corner when entering payment information to verify the security certificate. Any payment information is encrypted and removed from our servers regularly.

As stated in our privacy policy, we will never sell, rent, or share your information with any other parties.

Shipping Methods and Policies

Orders typically take 3-6 business days before the ship out from our packing facility. Large bulk items (10lb - 50lb) can take from 1-2 weeks before they ship. Please be aware that does not include shipping (transit) time.

Before you complete your order online, please double check that you entered your shipping address correctly. Incorrect shipping addresses can result in long delays or lost packages.

Please note: If you choose a PO Box shipping address, you must also chose a shipping option from the USPS.

Both UPS and USPS shipping changes are based on weight and the distance between our zip code and yours. To find your shipping cost, just add items to the shopping cart and click on the "Calculate Estimated Shipping Cost" link. You can also get an estimate by visiting USPS.com and UPS.com.

Shipping Price: The prices that you see while checking out are the direct cost that we have negotiated with our shipping partners UPS and the USPS. We strive to reduce these costs whenever possible and believe in transparency in pricing, so we do not tack on handling or processing fees. Free Shipping: We offer free shipping for vitamin/supplement only orders over $100. Click here to learn more.

Discounted Shipping: If you have ordered primarily grocery and personal care items, you can earn a credit toward your shipping total, by adding vitamins or supplements to your shopping cart. Click here to learn more.

If you place your order online, you will receive an email with your tracking number and you can see your estimated delivery date. Emails are sent out once we pack your order. Please note that often, the tracking number does not become active until the following business day.

We always try to process orders with expedited shipping (USPS Express, UPS 3 day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, and all UPS Next Day Air) services within 2 business days. If you need your package sooner, please just let us know when you place your order and we will do our best to accommodate you.

HI & AK Customers

We only offer USPS Priority Mail to Hawaii and Alaska. Check with USPS.com to calculate shipping times (the shipping zip code is 80228). Please note that our Free Shipping offer is not valid for shipments to HI or AK.

International Customers

In rare cases domestic US shipping options will appear, choosing these domestic shipping options on your order will result in a delay in its processing.

Many countries have customs regulations that apply to our products. It is your responsibility to check UPS.com or USPS.com to see if your package will be allowed in. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee international delivery - if a package is returned as undeliverable, you will be responsible for all applicable shipping charges. We will not refund shipping costs for packages returned at customs.

Most of our packages will require duties and taxes to be paid at the time of delivery. These fees must be paid by the recipient and we cannot determine what these duties will be before shipping.

UPS Standard to Canada is a cost-effective method of obtaining quick and guaranteed delivery to Canada. Be aware, however, that it will result in a brokerage fee that will be payable at the time of delivery. This is in addition to Customs Duties.

IMPORTANT: We have a $100 maximum (including shipping) for all first-time international orders. If you place an order over $100, you will be contacted with options, or your order may be canceled. Once we have established a business relationship with you, then you may place larger orders. We reserve the right to cancel any order that violates this policy.
