Part of the shipping cost has been added to the price of each product, but customers have consistently given us feedback that worrying about shipping costs is the number one reason they worry when shopping online. We always try to ship orders with expedited service (USPS Express, UPS 3 day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, and all UPS Next Day Air) within 2 business days of receipt. Our US customers typically choose UPS ground for most shipments. We can also ship orders with expedited service a such as USPS Express, UPS 3 day Select, UPS 2nd Day Air, and all UPS Next Day Air. UPS Standard service to Canada is a cost-effective method of obtaining speedy guaranteed delivery to Canada. Be aware, however, that UPS will collect customers fees and an additional brokerage fee that will be payable by the recipient at the time of delivery. We cannot refund shipping costs on orders that are returned due to non-payment of brokerage fees and customs fees.
Shipments to Hawaii and Alaska require UPS two-day air service. Based on our experience, no other service can reliably deliver foodstuffs and ensure their safe and timely arrival.
UPS does not ship to PO Boxes. If you provide a PO Box for delivery and select a UPS option, your order will be delayed and the shipping charge may increase.
We can only use USPS Priority for shipments to military and diplomatic addresses. If you select Parcel Post for these addresses, your order will be delayed while we contact you to authorize additional funds for Priority Mail. To ensure delivery of your order, please check your particular weight and size restrictions before you place your order.
We have a $100 maximum (including shipping) for all first-time international orders. Once we have established a business relationship together, you may be able to place larger orders. Note: each international order undergoes multiple fraud reviews prior to approval. If you place an initial order over $100, your order will be suspended until you can be contacted to discuss options. In rare cases domestic US shipping options may appear during checkout. Choosing any of these domestic shipping options on your order will result in delays.
Many countries have strict import restrictions, duties, taxes and customs fees for shipments allowed into their country. It is your responsibility to check to see if the contents of your order will be allowed to pass through customs and to determine any additional fees you may incur at the border. (UPS.com or USPS.com are good places to find this information.) These fees must be paid by the recipient of the shipment, and we cannot determine what these charges will be before shipping. For these reasons, we do not guarantee free returns on international deliveries. If your shipment is returned as undeliverable or if you refuse it, you will be responsible for all the shipping and other charges we incur. We will not refund shipping costs for packages returned after arriving at customs or the port of entry.
Please be aware that a order whose contents weighs more than 70 lbs will exceed the UPS weight limit, so it will have to be divided into smaller parcels. This may change the shipping charges quoted online. If this happens, prior to shipping your order we will contact you to review shipping options and potentially authorize additional shipping charges. We may also be able to suggest alternative shipping methods for large orders.
