Large numbers of tiny benign growths called skin tags are strongly associated with elevated blood sugar and insulin, both signs of prediabetes, according to a study by researchers at the University of Andres Bello in Chile. In general, having eight or more skin tags were related to poor glucose tolerance, and 77 percent of the subjects with large numbers of skin tags had signs of glucose intolerance. Sudy E.
