Meh... Not the Best for My Sensitive Skin

I purchased this after reading some really phenomenal reviews about it online- namely, that it was an extremely gentle toner (due to the fact that it does not contain alcohol like most toners). Sadly, this was a miss for me. The rose scent- which I expected to be subtle- was overpowering (although I am an individual who doesn't much care for fragranced products, and rose in particular is one of my least favorite scents) and for whatever reason, this left my face flushed and irritated after every use. I ended up giving the extra bottles I had to my mother and best friend (who, for the record, both liked it). For me, the rose scent was unpleasant and something in this particular formulation did not agree with my sensitive skin. (FYI- I am able to successfully use other Thayers toners without irritation- it appears to just be this one that turns my face red!)

This is one of the best toners I have used. I did not find much of an odor, if any at all with the rose one. I have tried avalon organics and others, but this one was the most gentle and least amount of ingredients and took off any traces of dirt and makeup gently.
