Bobbie Wallin, Dr. Hi, I'm Dr. Bobbie Wallin. In many ways, my chiropractic career began at an early age. I grew up on a farm in Moriarty, New Mexico. For as long as I can remember, I was an active kid who was into everything! I was naturally drawn to sports and competition and was fortunate to become a decent athlete at an early age. My true passions included volleyball, basketball and rodeo. Nothing was as important to me as being able to compete in sports, so when a rodeo injury sidelined me from "life as I knew it", I was devastated. I was told by my orthopedic surgeon that my athletic career was over and that it was best for me to pursue other passions. Fortunately, devastation led to a desire to overcome, and more importantly a desire to learn about the human body and sports injuries. To my surgeons surprise, I eventually recovered from the rodeo injury and went on to excel in basketball. In 1997, I was named the NM Player of the Year after my team won the state championship. I then attended Eastern New Mexico University on a basketball scholarship where I received all conference recognition as well as Academic All-American recognition for the Lonestar Conference. My passions for health science continued to develop as I pursued a pre-med degree, with plans to attend medical school. A twist of fate came next and I was introduced to Chiropractic. After becoming a patient myself I realized that not only was I in less pain but I felt like I was performing better. This was a major advantage for a college athlete but more so an inspiration for me to become a Chiropractor myself. After completing my pre-med requirements and receiving my bachelor's degree in Anatomy, I went on to attend Parker College of Chiropractic, in Dallas Texas. As I began to study the foundations of Chiropractic philosophy, a whole new world opened up to me. I learned that not only could Chiropractic help with sports injuries and pain but that it also could help the body heal from sickness and disease without the use of drugs or surgery. There are numerous conditions that I've witnessed improve through chiropractic care. Once patients realize that their body is designed to be self healing if they are adjusted, move well, and eat well, they get the results. Even better than that, Chiropractic is great at prevention and quality health maintenance at any age. I particularly enjoy working with kids and getting to hear reports from their parents on how well they are doing in school and how few, if any sick days they are experiencing since being under care. I want to welcome you to our chiropractic practice. I invite you to consult with me about anything concerning your health and if I cannot help you, I will research until I find an answer. I love answering any questions or concerns that you may have. I look forward to serving you
