Chef Robert K Barr

Robert K Barr is the Executive Chef at Harvest Cafe & Wine Bar in Omaha, Nebraska. As an Omaha native Chef Robert brings an experienced touch to Harvest's California-inspired cuisine. Robert is also a culinary mentor with 4 Omaha high schools through the ProStart program. Prior to Harvest Cafe, Chef Robert has over 30 years of experience in the industry as chef, restauranteur and culinary school director. He has been chef for celebrities & dignitaries including the position of dietary chef for the world champion NBA San Antonio Spurs. Robert has also been awarded the prestigiuos position as one of best chefs in America by the National Hotel & Motel association. His education, including studying classical French cooking in Chablis & Lyon areas of France. His study of the culinary arts, language and wines culminated into many honors and awards, such as the American Culinary Federation Presidential Medallion Only 61 out of 100 were awarded. Robert will be sourcing & preparing scratch-made dishes with locally sourced, organic & free range vegetables & meats.
