A native of the French Riviera, Christian Chavanne, Chef, culinary consultant, instructor, writer, and television host has a passion and appreciation for foods of all cultures with a special emphasis on the cuisines of his native Provence and the Mediterranean as well as California, South West and regional cooking of North America. There is no greater thrill for him than taking a recipe with excess salt, fat, sugar and cholesterol and transforming it into an equally satisfying, well balanced, colorful and flavorful meal. Christian continually experiments with new ingredients and techniques that keep him at the top of his culinary profession. His goal is to see people live long productive lives free from obesity and the health issues that creates.
