Christian Chavanne, Chef

A native of the French Riviera, Christian Chavanne- Chef, culinary consultant, culinary instructor, and television host- has a passion and appreciation for foods of all cultures with a special emphasis on the cuisines of his native Provence and the Mediterranean as well as California, Pacific Rim, South West and regional cooking of North America. Beginning at the age of fourteen, Christian spent nine years training and received apprenticeship in several countries. He established himself as a chef and restaurant manager, then shortly joined the team of Sonoma Mission Inn in California to develop Spa Food Cookbook. Since then he has joined the Four Seasons hotel chain, Galaxy Food Corporation as Director of Research and Development, and became a food writer for IN Magazine in Tyler, Texas. Christian also founded H.E.A.T. (Healthy Eating Action Team) in 2009. This program teaches children the importance of eating fresh fruits and vegetables.
