In February of 2012, I had Type II Diabetic symptoms, chronic fatigue, snoring/sleeping problems, digestive problems, and most importantly, I was unhappy with my quality of life. I watched a documentary that was recommended to me by a trustworthy colleague, concerning the typical American diet called Forks Over Knives. This decision changed my life forever. After the movie, I read excerpts from The China Study, I watched Food Inc and I eventually adopted a whole food plant based diet mostly following the meal plans of Happy Herbivore and The Engine 2 Diet. I dropped 20 pounds in one month just by changing the way I viewed food. Within 8 months, my energy levels soared and propelled me through P90X, my first 5K, and the loss of 100 pounds. I believe fitness begins in the kitchen. Due to my life changing research and personal experience, I committed myself to helping others achieve their dreams of being healthy and happy through an all inclusive approach. I became CPR & AED Certified and also obtained the Primary Personal Trainer Certification through FiTOUR and am continuing my passion to help all those I come in contact with become healthier and happier physically, mentally, and emotionally. I weighed in at 300+ pounds for almost 10 years. James Pesch CPT & Jessica Pesch CNA are  nutrition conscious specialists.
