Katie Cahill, DC

Dr. Katie Cahill earned her undergraduate degree in biology with a sports medicine minor from the College of St. Benedict/St. John’s University in St. Joseph, MN. She then went on to receive her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Logan College in Chesterfield, Missouri. She has been practicing in the Denver area for the past 5 years.  In 2013 she became Brimhall Certified and developed proficiency treating patients with the 6 steps to wellness, addressing: structural problems, electrical pollution, nutrition deficiencies, allergies, emotional stress and heavy metal toxicity in patients. Through her experience, Dr. Katie has found the patients who healed the fastest are the ones that properly addressed their nutritional deficiencies. The body is an amazing machine and if given the proper nutrients, it can heal itself. Unfortunately, with the way our food and lifestyle has evolved, it is impossible to get all those necessary nutrients from our food alone.  Fortunately, good quality supplements exist to help us achieve better health. So then, how do you know what nutrients your body needs to heal? Through blood work! The blood gives insight as to what is going on in your body and what nutrients it needs to support and heal itself. The beauty of looking at blood work is that there is no guessing. Once we know what is missing, it is possible to balance the body’s biochemistry by making changes to the diet and adding proper supplementation. The body can do truly amazing things when given the nutrients that it needs! After graduating from Chiropractic College, Dr. Katie struggled with her own health. The stress of school was tough on her body and at only 26, she was dealing with chronic fatigue, digestive problems, hormonal imbalances and food allergies. It was through proper supplementation and nutrition, as well as monitoring her body’s biochemistry with regular blood work that she was able to get her health back on track. She understands what it is like to feel bad, but also knows the rewards of being proactive and getting healthy again! In her free time, you can find Dr. Katie enjoying the great outdoors with her dog, Taya. Although not a Colorado native, she enjoys all the scenic hiking trails, snowshoeing in the mountains and going for a run while taking in the beautiful mountain views.
