Kurt Perkins, DC, CCWP

Dr. Kurt Perkins DC CCWP has one mission in life: to help families create a culture of More Health, Less Healthcare.  As a child, Dr. Kurt was a sick kid using lots of healthcare.  He was obese, had chronic strep throat, multiple ear infections, chronic bronchitis, and eczema so bad it would bleed.  With a paradigm that pills make you better, he left for undergrad studies with aspirations of being a pharmacist.  Dr. Kurt had a crossroads in the biochemistry department at Roberts Wesleyan College.  Either the DNA dictated the health of the cell or the environment (petri dish) did.  This new-found applied knowledge of epigenetics led Dr. Kurt to attend New York Chiropractic College with the intent of being able to use non-pharmaceutical interventions to affect people’s lives. Besides being in private practice, he writes frequently, speaks all over the city, is currently enrolled in Functional Medicine University, just published his first book.
