Laura Pedersen

Dr. Pedersen completed her undergraduate studies in Cellular Biology/Pre Med at the University of Colorado, Boulder.  During her undergraduate studies, Dr. Pedersen got very sick with an ultimate diagnosis of “chronic fatigue syndrome”. After seeing many doctors for care of her illness, she was taken to a chiropractor that specialized in nutrition and got on a course of correction. It was at this time that she changed her direction from traditional medicine to alternative medicine and chiropractic. In 1993, Dr. Pedersen completed her Doctor of Chiropractic, graduating cum laude at Logan College of Chiropractic in St Louis, MO. Dr. Pedersen returned to her home state of Colorado to begin her practice and continued her education with extensive studies in: Integrated Functional Medicine Clinical Nutrition Lifestyle management through First Line Therapy Autism Spectrum Treatment Applied Kinesiology Acupuncture Cranial Sacral Therapy Neuro Emotional Technique Structural Stabilization through Biomechanical Orthotics Dr. Pedersen is from Vail, Colorado.   She practiced in Colorado Springs from 1993-2002, moved with her husband and the moves of the US Navy, spending time in San Diego and Australia, and practiced in Corpus Christi, Texas. She returned to Colorado Springs in 2006. Dr. Pedersen has two beautiful little girls, ages 8 and 4.
