Meredith Newell, BA, EPC

Meredith spent her childhood on an organic farm. There, she learned that whole foods make better ingredients and better ingredients make tastier meals. In answer to the limited availability of healthy prepared foods, Meredith formed Taproot Whole Foods Catering in 2014. Her mission is to provide tasty whole food meals to people all over Western Colorado. Meredith was trained a the Institute for the Psychology of Eating, the leading school in Nutritional Psychology where she received her certification as an Eating Psychology Counselor. In IPE's program, she learned tools and protocols that enable her to work with weight issues, body image challenges, overeating, binge-eating, and a variety of nutrition related health concerns such as digestion, fatigue, mood, immunity, and others. Her work combines the powerful new fields of Dynamic Eating Psychology and Mind-Body Nutrition. Meredith has been the Nutrition and Wellness Coordinator at AdvantAge Integrative Medicine for three years.
