Monika Buerger, BA, DC

Dr. Buerger graduated from Life Chiropractic College-West in 1991. She also holds an undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from California State University, Fresno. She has extensive post graduate studies in Functional Medicine, Functional Nutrition, Neuroscience and Neurodevelopment. Her practice is largely dedicated to serving those with Neurodevelopmental challenges as well those with chronic unresolved health issues. She is the pioneer in the chiropractic profession when it comes to working with children that have Neurosensory and Neurodevelopmental Disorders. In addition to her full-time practice in Ammon, she lectures nationally and internationally. She has been a speaker for the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, Washington State Chiropractic Association as well as several other organizations for over the past ten years. She is the founder of Intersect4kids, a certification program for Doctors of Chiropractic in 'The Care and Management of Children with Neurodevelopmental Disorders’. She is a former instructor for Life Chiropractic College-West in Hayward, California and is currently on the postgraduate faculty of several chiropractic colleges nationwide. She is a contributing author to the text book Pediatric Chiropractic, Volume I and Volume II; with chapters on Pediatric History and Physical Exam, Neurodevelopmental Disorders, and Sensory Processing Disorder. Her mission is to educate as many parents, teachers, and other health professionals as possible on effective and appropriate natural treatment options for those with neurodevelopmental disorders – spreading hope for a brighter tomorrow!
