Wambui Machua is a dedicated food entrepreneur who found a way to incorporate her ingrained passion for African food with her community and economic development skills. Machua founded Spice of Africa in 2008, a cooking school and catering company that promises a unique cultural experience to its patrons.  Wambui’ s efforts to give back to her Oregon and Kenyan communities led to building a bridge between the two; Feed the Village (www.FeedtheVillage.org, which is the humanitarian and philanthropic branch of Spice of Africa, and community based organization in Kenya.  Spice of Africa has educated over a 1,000 individuals through their cooking classes and dinners.
