Alisa Lysaught has been involved in nutrition education on a personal level for over 20 years. After earning a Bachelor degree from Washburn University in Mathematics and an Associates degree in Computer Science, Alisa left her position as an Actuary to become a stay-at-home mom and to homeschool six children. While she was educating herself in the art of raising healthy children, she often shared nutrition education materials with other mothers to support them on their journey in nutrition. Alisa only recently rejoined the workplace outside the home while completing her studies as a Certified Holistic Nutritionist and moving through Natural Grocers' employment opportunities to become the Topeka store's NHC. Alisa has a strong belief that there are many hidden treasures of natural options available for people's multitude of daily challenges just waiting to be discovered.
