Candace graduated from Metropolitan State University of Denver, in the heart of Colorado, with a Bachelor of Science in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. During her undergraduate program, she had an internship working with a registered dietitian to provide nutrition counseling to fellow students. She has worked in clinical nutrition, and volunteered in various capacities—from  community gardens to food banks—to educate participants and promote the health of people in the community. Candace’s passion is to help people live their best life by achieving a healthy mind, body and spirit. When not in the Natural Grocers store, you can find her exploring Colorado and hiking in the Rocky Mountains.
