Joe Wagner is a former United States Marine and Purple Heart recipient. Joe has a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Science from the University of Nevada Reno (UNR) and is also a Dietitian Technician Registered through the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. He has ten years of experience in Wellness, Nutrition, and Food Sciences. He has formally taught for Truckee Meadows Community, College-teaching Organic Chemistry and Microbiology, and the University of Montana-teaching Nutrition Education and Community Development. Joe has clinical experience through the UNR School of Medicine and Renown Hospital Rehabilitation Center. He has participated in studies with the MARS corporation on advanced food manufacturing equipment and with the Commission on Dietetics Registration and the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. When not at Natural Grocers, Joe enjoys hiking, fishing, cooking, and many outdoor activities common to the Helena area; he also enjoys giving back to his community as part of multiple Veteran non-profit organizations.
