Mary Van Steenbergen obtained her Master of Science degree in Nutrition from the National University of Natural Medicine (NUNM) in Portland, Oregon. During her studies at NUNM, she furthered her experience by completing two internships: the first gave her experience giving one-on-one nutrition consultations to members of a personal training facility, while the second gave her the skills to teach nutrition classes to the public. Mary believes in a whole foods, holistic approach to nutrition and loves to help people determine the optimal food choices for their health. As a transplant to from Connecticut to Oregon, Mary is still mesmerized by the beauty of Oregon and wants to discover all the hikes, waterfalls, and breathtaking views that she can!
