Veronica McBryde graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in Champaign, Illinois, with a Bachelor of Science in Food Science and Human Nutrition (with a concentration in Dietetics). She has worked in various capacities in the healthcare field, from Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in Dallas as a Patient Advocate to Food Service at a nursing home as a Volunteer. Most recently, she worked for LifeWay Kefir, discussing the health benefits of kefir at a National Nurse Practitioner Conference and, most rewardingly, educating the nurses and doctors at this event. Veronica's passion is to empower customers to nurture their health through food as natural medicine. When not in the Natural Grocers store, you can find her taking nature walks or baking sourdough bread.
