We have heard from several of you regarding having hand sanitizer and/or wipes available for use to clean shopping cart handles in our stores. 

We have made this a top priority and are working on getting hand sanitizer and public dispensers to all stores. It may take up to three weeks before the hand sanitizer and public dispensers are set up at all stores. In the interim, per CDC recommendations¹, we are working to provide all stores with household cleaning wipes/sprays--Clean Well Botanical Disinfecting Wipes/Sprays or similar product--within the next couple of days that can be used to clean shopping cart handles.

We wish we could provide both immediately, but the coronavirus created an immediate shortage for everyone.

As always, Natural Grocers maintains standards for cleanliness and overall shopping environment that are unsurpassed in the grocery industry, and we were recently rated as one of the cleanest grocery stores in America by Consumer Reports. We are diligently focusing on these standards even more so until the coronavirus passes.

In the interim, you can call your local store to see if the hand sanitizer and/or household cleaning wipes have arrived yet. All our stores (with one exception) have public restrooms which you are welcome to use to wash your hands at any time and as many times as you would like during your visit with us.
