Hazel Thornton graduated from University of Kansas in Lawrence, KS, with a Bachelor of Science In Biochemistry. She went on to receive two Certificates of Personal Training, one from Johnson County Community College and another from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. Hazel is passionate about teaching, especially biology and health; she has always enjoyed meeting new people and helping them on their health and wellness journeys. When not at the Natural Grocers Store, she participates in calisthenics and aerobics and enjoys brunch with friends.
