Valerie is a registered dietitian and licensed dietetic nutritionist. She graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics. She completed her dietetic internship, as well as Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics, at Louisiana Tech. Valerie has worked in the health and wellness industry for eight years as a supplement specialist and demo rep. Valerie's passions include learning about all things nutrition-related and sharing with those who seek to optimize their well-being. When not at Natural Grocers, Valerie enjoys playing roller derby, creating art, and travelling.
