Chicken Salad With A Twist Recipe


Don’t let the unusual ingredient list scare you off. This new twist on an old favorite uses good4u almond butter and probiotic-rich apple cider vinegar to create a creamy, zingy version that is sure to please. It’s every bit as delicious as its conventional counterpart and makes a quick, healthy meal anytime.

2 tablespoons Natural Grocers bulk almond butter
2 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons Natural Grocers apple cider vinegar
2 teaspoons Dijon Mustard
2 teaspoons Natural Grocers honey
2 cups cooked chicken, chopped
1 large celery stalk, cut into ¼-inch dice
4 organic green onions, greens thinly sliced reserve whites for another use
  sea salt, to taste
4 pieces of your favorite bread
  1. Combine the almond butter, vinegar, mustard, and honey in a medium bowl. Whisk together until well combined.
  2. Toast the bread.
  3. While the bread toasts, add the remaining ingredients to the bowl of dressing and stir well to coat.
  4. To serve, top each piece of toast with one quarter of the chicken salad.
