Spring Sunshine Smoothie Bowl

A smoothie bowl is really just a smoothie with extra personality—thicker, more spoonable, and the perfect carrier for all your favorite toppings (we like fresh fruit, nuts and seeds, nut butter, and granola)—and our Natural Grocers® Brand Organic Smoothie Blends make it super easy to whip one up! We’ve pumped up the nutrition by adding frozen cauliflower (you can’t taste it in the smoothie), protein powder, and chia seeds for extra fiber. Just blend it all up, pour it in a bowl, add your favorite toppings, and dig in. Easy, healthy, and delicious!

1 (10-ounce) bag Natural Grocers Brand Organic Frozen Sunshine Smoothie Blend (mangoes, bananas, and carrots), ~1 ½ cups
1⁄2 cup Natural Grocers Brand Organic Frozen Cauliflower Florets
1⁄2 cup Natural Grocers Brand Organic Plain or Vanilla Whole Milk Yogurt
1/2 -1 scoop Natural Grocers Brand Organic Vanilla Plant Protein Powder
3⁄4 cup organic milk (or another liquid such as coconut water, juice, or herbal tea)
1 teaspoon Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Organic Chia Seeds
3/4 - 1 1/2 teaspoons Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Organic Ground Turmeric
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoons Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Organic Ground Ginger
Pinch of Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Real Salt
Topping ideas: fresh or frozen chopped organic mango or berries; Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Hemp Seeds, Organic Shredded Coconut, Organic Pecan Pieces, Sliced Almonds, or Granola; a drizzle of nut or seed butter (try cashew or sunflower butter); or a sprinkle of Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Organic Ground Turmeric for garnishing
  1. Add the Sunshine Smoothie Blend, frozen cauliflower, yogurt, protein powder, milk, chia seeds, and seasonings to a blender. Blend until super smooth. If it is too thick to pour, add an additional ¼ cup of milk, blend until smooth, and pour into two serving bowls.
  2. Top with any tasty toppings you desire and eat it with a spoon!
