The New York State of Mind: Troubled About Dietary Supplements

Longstanding historical trends converged this week in New York state to produce a media feeding frenzy around dietary supplements quality. The state attorney general issued cease and desist orders to several prominent retailers alleging they were selling herbal formulas that did not actually contain the ingredients listed on the label, or contained undeclared allergens.
