While navigating his own neurodivergence and mental health challenges, Austen landed in the peculiar overlap between nutrition and psychology—a space where surprisingly few coaches work. What started as a personal necessity turned into a fascination with the elegantly logical (and occasionally weird) biochemistry of how our brains respond to food. As a Nutritional Health Coach at Natural Grocers in Hailey, Idaho, Austen champions evidence-based nutrition with genuine enthusiasm, utilizing the gut-brain connection to fuel his insatiable research appetite.
