- Do a friend or family member a favor

- Make yourself healthy treats so you won’t feel deprived and can pass on the sugar-laden junk foods
- Give yourself the gift of time—carve out time to get a massage, soak in the tub, relax,…
- Set goals for developing the characteristics you most admire in others (e.g., patient, caring, appreciative, thoughtful, perceptive, etc.)
- Get outside!
- Stop eating when you’re full
- Choose organic ingredients for all your favorite holiday recipes
- Take enzymes or herbal bitters before meals, and with you to parties, to support healthy digestion and absorption
- Substitute vegetables in recipes whenever possible, i.e. zucchini for noodles
- Start a gratitude tree and write down one thing you are thankful for each day #gratefulthoughts
- Give your time instead of gifts. Sign-up to volunteer at your local homeless shelter or community meal
- It’s okay to say no – even if it is your grandma’s extra special German chocolate cake made just for you!
- Holiday travelers: pack healthy snacks to keep fueled and full and away from fast food (or: out of the drive thru)
