115-ounce can chickpeas AKA garbanzo beans, drained
4 tablespoonsolive oil
1 teaspoongranulated garlic
2 teaspoonschili powder
1⁄2 teaspoonred pepper flakes
1⁄2 teaspoonsalt, or to taste
Preheat oven to 350º F.
Blot chickpeas with a paper towel to dry them. In a bowl, toss the chickpeas with olive oil, spices, and salt.
Spread the seasoned chickpeas on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven, toss to ensure even cooking, and place back in the oven for another 15-20 minutes, until lightly browned. Watch carefully the last few minutes to prevent burning.
