Sheet Pan Roasted Ravioli and Vegetables

Sheet Pan Roasted Ravioli and Vegetables

Roasting ravioli yields the same chewy, creamy middle you would expect from boiled ravioli, but with irresistibly crisp edges. Combining them with Italian-style veggies and Italian sausage on one sheet pan gives you a quick and delicious meal you’ll make on repeat.

1 (20-ounce) bag frozen Natural Grocers® Brand Organic Ravioli (any flavor)
1 pint organic cherry or grape tomatoes
1 medium organic red onion, halved and sliced into ¼-inch slices
6 organic garlic cloves, peeled and sliced
1 bunch organic broccolini, ends trimmed
1⁄4 cup + 1 tablespoon Natural Grocers Brand Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Real Salt and Organic Black Pepper, to taste
4 Italian sausage links or vegetarian sausage-style links, sliced into ½-inch coins
1⁄2 cup Natural Grocers Brand Organic Shredded Parmesan Cheese
Fresh organic basil or parsley, finely chopped (optional)
  1. Place a baking sheet in the oven and preheat to 400° F.
  2. Place the ravioli in a large bowl (no need to defrost) and drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil; stir to coat. Add the tomatoes, onion slices, sliced garlic, and 2 more tablespoons of olive oil. Generously season with salt and pepper and stir to combine and coat the veggies and ravioli with the oil.
  3. Once the oven is preheated, carefully remove the baking sheet with a hot pad. Evenly spread the vegetables and ravioli over the baking sheet. Scatter the sausage slices over the top and place baking sheet back in the oven using the hot pad. Roast for 10 minutes.
  4. Add the broccolini to the now empty bowl and drizzle with the remaining tablespoon of olive oil; lightly season with salt and pepper. After ravioli and vegetables have been in the oven for 10 minutes, set the broccolini on top and roast for another 10 minutes.
  5. After the ravioli have roasted for 20 minutes, use a spatula to gently stir everything. Return the pan to oven and roast for 10 more minutes.
  6. Remove the pan from the oven and sprinkle the Parmesan cheese over the top. Wait a couple of minutes to allow the cheese to melt then top with the chopped herbs just before serving.

Roasted Bacon Brussels Sprouts with Hot Honey

Roasted Bacon Brussels Sprouts with Hot Honey

These indulgent sprouts couldn’t be more flavorful! Smoky, savory, a little sweet, and a little spicy, this easy side dish is destined to steal the show.

1 pound organic Brussels sprouts, rinsed and patted dry
2 tablespoons Natural Grocers® Brand Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
1⁄2 teaspoon Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Real Salt
1⁄2 teaspoon Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Organic Ground Black Pepper
½-1 teaspoon Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Organic Red Chili Flakes
5 slices Natural Grocers Brand Hickory-Smoked Uncured Bacon, cut into ¼-½-inch pieces
3 tablespoons Natural Grocers Brand Raw and Unfiltered Clover Honey
Natural Grocers Brand Organic Shaved Parmesan Cheese, optional for topping
  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Place a baking sheet in the oven to heat up. Trim the bottom of the Brussels sprouts and then slice in half from top to bottom, discarding any discolored outer leaves.
  2. Place the Brussels sprouts in a large bowl and add the olive oil, salt, and pepper. Gently toss to coat the sprouts.
  3. Carefully remove the baking sheet from the oven and spread the Brussels sprouts over it, cut-side down, in one layer.
  4. Return the baking sheet to the center rack and bake for 25-30 minutes, turning halfway through. Remove when the Brussels sprouts are golden brown.
  5. Meanwhile, cook the bacon. Place a heavy-bottomed skillet on the stovetop over medium heat. Add the cut bacon and cook, stirring frequently, until brown and crispy, 6-8 minutes (watch carefully to prevent burning). Once done, use a slotted spoon to scoop the bacon bits out of the pan, letting the grease drip off, and transfer to a small bowl. Set aside.
  6. Warm the honey and chili flakes in a small pan on the stovetop for 3-5 minutes or in a small bowl in the microwave for 10-15 seconds. Stir to combine.
  7. Remove the baking sheet from the oven, add the crispy bacon, and drizzle the hot honey evenly over the top. Gently toss to combine. Taste and season with additional salt and pepper or chili flakes if desired. Top with shaved Parmesan cheese if desired and serve immediately.
