Lisa Scott graduated from Texas State Technical College, Waco, Texas, with an Associate of Applied Science in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering. She then graduated from Tarleton State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science, and from Hill College with an Associate of Science, with a focus on Holistic Wellness in nutrition, herbs, and health coaching. Before working for Natural Grocers, she had her own business providing nutrition education through classes and magazines, and teaching people how to make healthy herbal and food products for themselves. Her passion for life is teaching people how to take control of their health and showing them how to do so. When not in the Natural Grocers store, you may find Lisa reading, gardening, sewing, canning, knitting, or just sitting quietly enjoying the birds.
