Healthy Soil, Healthy Food

How Soil Health Affects the Quality of What You Eat

Details:

Soil composition changes with the mix of minerals, water, air, and organic matter. Soil health shifts even more under different management practices. Therefore, biodiversity – from the life belowground to the plants growing above – is a key indicator of soil quality. Join NDSU graduate students for a presentation focused on raising awareness of why soil health matters when growing (and buying!) your food.
