Grilled Desserts: Brownies on the Grill

12 brownies
1 (17-ounce) box Natural Grocers Brand Gluten Free Fudge Brownie Mix
2 Natural Grocers Brand Organic Pasture-Raised Eggs
1 (4-ounce) stick unsalted butter or Natural Grocers Brand Organic Plant Based Buttery Stick, melted
1 tablespoon water
1⁄2 cup chopped Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Walnuts , (optional)
  Optional: add ¼ cup chopped dried fruit , (e.g., cherries, strawberries or blueberries) or crystalized ginger into the batter.
  1. Preheat grill to 350° F and thoroughly clean grill grates. Grease an 8 or 9-inch cast iron skillet with butter or buttery spread.
  2. Prepare Natural Grocers Brand Gluten Free Fudge Brownie Mix according to package directions. Spread the batter evenly into the prepared cast iron skillet.
  3. Bake brownies on the grill with the lid closed for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Keep an eye on the grill while the brownies bake and adjust heat as necessary to maintain the temperature at 350° F.
  4. Allow the brownies to cool for 15-20 minutes before slicing and serving. For extra decadence, top with Organic Miso Caramel Sauce, your favorite ice cream and/or fresh berries.
