1 tablespoon Natural Grocers Brand Organic Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
1 small organic onion, chopped
3 cloves organic garlic, minced
1 tablespoon minced organic ginger
1 pound ground wild boar, or other ground meat such as organic pork or grass-fed beef
1 tablespoon organic sesame oil
2 tablespoons organic tamari soy sauce or coconut aminos
1 tablespoon sriracha, or hot sauce of your choice
2 teaspoons organic rice vinegar
1 small organic cabbage, (green or savoy), thinly sliced to equal 5 cups
1 large organic carrot, shredded
1⁄3 cup organic beef, chicken, or vegetable broth
2 organic green onions, thinly sliced
2 teaspoons Natural Grocers Brand Bulk Organic White Sesame Seeds
  1. Heat oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add onion and cook, stirring occasionally, until soft and translucent, 3-5 minutes. Add garlic and ginger and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  2. Add the meat, using a wooden spoon to break it up, and cook until browned, about 5 minutes. Drain off excess fat if needed.
  3. Add the sesame oil, tamari, Sriracha, and rice vinegar and mix until fully incorporated into the meat.
  4. Add the cabbage, carrot, and broth to the pan and stir to fully combine, scraping any browned bits from the bottom of the pan. Cook, stirring regularly, for 5-6 minutes, or until the cabbage is soft.
  5. Remove from heat and evenly divide among four bowls. Garnish with the sliced green onion and sesame seeds and add additional tamari and Sriracha as desired.
