  • 1 medium head loose leaf lettuce, leaves separated and rinsed
  • 2 medium carrots, peeled and shredded
  • 1 small red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 cup(s) roasted, salted sunflower seeds

Directions

Dry the lettuce leaves (a salad spinner will save you time). With your hands, tear the lettuce into bite size pieces. Put leaves into a large bowl. Add the shredded carrots and toss. Serve by transferring 1/4 of the salad to each salad bowl. Add the red onion and sunflower seeds to each bowl. Top with homemade garlic dressing.
