  • 1 tsp(s) salt
  • 1 tsp(s) cumin
  • 1 tsp(s) Paprika
  • 1 tsp(s) Garlic powder
  • 4 salmon filets
  • 1 tsp(s) Black pepper
  • 2 tbsp(s) Coconut oil, melted
  • 2 avocados, pits removed and flesh chopped
  • 1 small red onion, diced
  • 2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and diced
  • 2 limes, juiced
  • 3 tbsp(s) Olive oil
  • 2 tbsp(s) finely chopped cilantro
  • 0 sea salt to taste

For the Salmon:

Mix the salt, cumin, paprika, garlic, and black pepper together. Rub the seasoning mix into the salmon filets and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

Pre-heat the grill to medium-high heat. Brush the salmon filets with melted coconut oil and place on grill. Grill until the fish is cooked through, about 3 to 4 minutes on each side (the salmon should release itself from the grill when it’s ready to flip). When done, remove to a platter and let rest for about 5 minutes. Serve the salmon topped with the avocado salsa.


For the Salsa:

While the salmon rests in the fridge with seasoning, make the salsa. Combine the avocado, onion, jalapenos, lime juice, olive oil, cilantro, and salt in a bowl and mix well. Chill until ready to use.
