1. In a large bowl add the chicken thighs, apple cider vinegar, and olive oil and stir to combine. Sprinkle the taco seasoning and 1 teaspoon salt evenly over the chicken and massage into the chicken, ensuring that all thighs are evenly coated. Cover the bowl and let sit for 30 minutes to marinate.
2. While the chicken marinates, make the salsa. Combine the strawberries, onion, jalapeño, avocado, and lime juice and gently toss together. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
3. To prevent the chicken from sticking, use a paper towel to rub the grate with a little olive oil. Heat the grill to 350° to 450°F. Place the chicken thighs on the grill over indirect heat and cook for about 4 minutes per side, or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165° F. Transfer to a serving platter.
